MF STD12 Fast is a faster version of the standard MF STD12 detection kit designed for high throughput labs with maximum productivity. MF STD12 Fast is a real time PCR detection kit for 12 different STDs. The kit utilizes an exogenous internal positive control to be simultaneously amplified with the pathogen target to rule out PCR inhibition and decrease false negatives. In addition, the kit incorporates uracil DNA glycosylase to minimize carry over contamination and false positives. The MF STD12 Fast kit provides results in just 50 minutes and works with the following three specimen types: swab specimen, urine specimen, or liquid based cytology specimen.
